Safari Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Mombasa/Diani to Tsavo East

Pick-up & Drive to Tsavo East:

Early morning pick-up from your Mombasa or Diani hotel. Start your journey towards Tsavo East National Park, known for its vast open plains, red elephants, and stunning wildlife.

Enjoy the changing landscape as you drive through the rural Kenyan countryside.

Arrival & Morning Game Drive:

Arrive at Tsavo East’s entrance gate, begin your first game drive as you enter the park. Watch for elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. Tsavo is also home to predators like lions and cheetahs.

Tsavo East Highlights: Spot the “red elephants” dusted in the park’s red soil and enjoy the open savannah, perfect for sighting wildlife.

Lunch & Relaxation:

Check into your lodge or camp and enjoy a delicious lunch. Take some time to relax before your afternoon game drive.

Afternoon Game Drive:

Head out for an afternoon game drive to explore more of Tsavo East’s vast wilderness.

Lugard Falls: Visit Lugard Falls, where the Galana River flows through rocky channels. It’s a scenic spot, and crocodiles are often seen basking on the riverbanks.

Dinner & Overnight:

Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Day 2: Tsavo East to Mombasa/Diani

Early Morning Game Drive:

Wake up early for a morning game drive to catch predators like lions and hyenas at their most active, along with the sunrise over the savannah.

Breakfast & Final Game Drive:

Return to your lodge for breakfast, check out, and enjoy a final game drive as you exit the park.

Continue spotting wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and various bird species.

Drive Back to Mombasa/Diani:

Begin your journey back to Mombasa/Diani after the morning’s game drive, with an optional stop for lunch along the way.

Drop-off:

Arrive at your Mombasa or Diani hotel in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari adventure.
