Safari Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
Pick-up & Drive to Tsavo East:
Early morning departure from Mombasa and drive to Tsavo East National Park, renowned for its vast savannah and wildlife, especially the famous red elephants.
Morning Game Drive:
Arrive at Tsavo East and begin a game drive en route to your lodge.
Tsavo East Highlights: Spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and giraffes as you explore the open plains. Visit the Galana River and Lugard Falls, where you can view hippos and crocodiles.
Lunch & Afternoon Game Drive:
After lunch and some rest, enjoy an afternoon game drive focusing on the park’s diverse wildlife.
Dinner & Overnight:
Overnight stay at a lodge in Tsavo East.
Day 2
Day 2: Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park
Transfer to Tsavo West:
After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park, known for its rugged landscapes and volcanic formations.
Morning Game Drive & Mzima Springs:
Embark on a game drive through the park. Visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water flows from underground streams, and spot hippos and crocodiles from the underwater viewing chamber.
Afternoon at the Rhino Sanctuary:
Visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to see the endangered black rhino and other wildlife such as elephants and zebras.
Dinner & Overnight:
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge in Tsavo West.
Day 3
Day 3: Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
Drive to Amboseli:
After breakfast, head to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon Game Drive:
Explore the park on an afternoon game drive.
Amboseli Highlights: Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants and spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Other wildlife includes lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and buffaloes.

Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp in Amboseli.
Day 4
Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Morning & Afternoon Game Drives:
Spend the day with game drives in Amboseli, focusing on elephant herds, scenic views of Kilimanjaro, and other wildlife. Explore the park’s swamps and open plains for a variety of animal encounters.
Optional Cultural Visit:
You can visit a Maasai village to learn about Maasai culture and traditions (optional).
Dinner & Overnight:
Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/camp in Amboseli.
Day 5
Day 5: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Drive to Lake Naivasha:
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and head to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch.
Boat Ride & Crescent Island Walk:
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos and a variety of bird species, including fish eagles.
Visit Crescent Island for a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a predator-free environment.
Dinner & Overnight:
Overnight stay at a lodge by Lake Naivasha.
Day 6
Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve
Drive to Masai Mara:
After breakfast, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through the Great Rift Valley and Maasai lands. Arrive at your lodge in Masai Mara in time for lunch.
Afternoon Game Drive:
Set out for an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara, offering a perfect introduction to this iconic wildlife reserve.
Masai Mara Highlights: Spot the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos) along with cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles.

Day 7
Day 7: Full Day in Masai Mara
Full-Day Game Drives:
Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.
Masai Mara Exploration: Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River, with predators like crocodiles and lions lying in wait.
Optional Balloon Safari:

Day 8
Day 8: Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, with an optional stop for lunch en route.
Drop-off at your hotel or the airport in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
